Hainan Black Basalt Tiles are a highly durable stone, regularly used for high-traffic areas of the home, garden, or commercial projects like shopping mall square, public park, plaza floor. Once sealed, it is relatively moisture resistant, making basalt paving slabs ideal for use throughout the interior, as well as for exterior uses.
Like Granite, Black Basalt Slab is an igneous rock created by hot magma bubbling up from deep under the earth's crust. Once it has surfaced, it rapidly cools creating a solid rock. It has a consistent color throughout the stone, with no contrasting veins or large crystals to break the uniformity.

HONED SURFACE HANDLING Project of Hainan Black Basalt Tiles
Honed stone finish is a softer and velvet-like version of the polished finish. In this finishing process, the black basalt is buffed to a satin-like finish. Honed HN black basalt presents a matte finish compared to the glossy appearance of a polished finish. The surface is smooth to the touch, but has more of a dull texture.
