One of the most common points of failure in mosaic installations is tile detachment or uneven joints. At our manufacturing facility, we address this by utilizing high-tensile, alkali-resistant glass fiber mesh.
Each mosaic sheet is mounted using water-resistant, polymer-modified adhesive that does not degrade under wet conditions (such as steam rooms or swimming pools). The backing grid is engineered with optimized open areas to guarantee that the thin-set mortar achieves at least 95% direct contact with the back of the stone
Natural Stone Calibration & Surface Finishing Process
Raw stone slabs vary inherently in density and thickness. Before cutting, every slab undergoes a mechanical calibration process to ensure uniform thickness across the entire batch.
Our automated multi-blade gang saws and CNC waterjet machines cut shapes with a tolerance of less than 0.5mm. After assembly, the mosaic sheets go through a multi-stage finishing line where they are polished, honed, or tumbled to match your exact specification, ensuring zero sharp edges and a consistent surface plane across sheets.
