Chinese Vals Black Granite Slabs For Floor and Wall Paving Tiles
Vals Granite . The beauty and durability of Chinese granite slabs and tiles have made them a favorite surface throughout the ages.
Vals Granite does not simply come out of the earth in the form of a slab. At the quarries, this Chinese granite is extracted and separated into large blocks. These blocks are then cut into thin sheets called slabs. After the stone is cut, it is then polished and shipped off to the fabricator.
Dimensions: as each stone is unique, sizes will vary upon availability. The average slab size is 80” x 40” – 120” x 70”. Tiles or special sizes may be available upon request.
Thickness: standard stock thickness is ¾” and 1 ¼” for most materials, however, 2” and other thicknesses may be available upon request.
Finish: standard finishes are polished & honed, specialty textured finishes such as leather, bamboo, and others may be available in stock or upon request.

FAQ of Granite and Marble Stone
Can I cut on my granite countertop?
Granite is extremely hard and can withstand even the sharpest knives, but doing so will quickly dull your knives so we recommend a cutting board.
Can my granite countertop be damaged?
Like any surface, high-impact blows can do harm to your granite and it can chip if subjected to sharp-tipped hard objects. Although granite installations come sealed, unsealed granite can absorb stains such as oil, which can ultimately cause dark spots or discoloration. The heat from pots and pans or burning liquids will not affect granite under normal circumstances, but it is recommended to use trivets whenever possible.
