The cleaning of cultural stone mainly has the following problems and solutions:
1. After the culture stone is pasted, if you find that the surface of the stone is accidentally contaminated by the mortar, you must wait until the mortar is half dry and easy to fall off, and then use a small brush to brush it off. Do not use a wet brush.
2. The surface of the stone can be cleaned with ordinary alkaline detergent. Do not use acidic or acid detergents.
3. After all the walls are installed and cleaned, a waterproof treatment is required as a whole. Generally, water-based waterproof materials should be used, especially the grooves and joints should be treated in place.
Cultural stone maintenance
Like natural stone, the exterior wall of cultural stone also needs certain maintenance. In cities with more serious air pollution, rainwater is mostly weakly acidic, and long-term sun and rain damage the exterior wall more. Water-proof and anti-corrosion treatment must be carried out once every 2 years according to the corrosion of the external wall. Generally, water-based waterproof materials should be used for the treatment, especially the joints of the trenches should be fully treated.
