Scratch

Different granites are also different in their resistance to staining and scratching, so be sure to ask what kind of granite you are buying.Cutting directly on the granite surface will not affect the overall granite, but it is best to put a cushion plate when cutting, so as not to blunt the knife.Frequent use of the same knife in the same place on a granite countertop can wear away the polished surface of the granite countertop.

Dyeing

Light-colored granite has more pores than dark-colored granite and is more likely to be stained.Clean up the liquid immediately after it is spilt on the counter to help avoid potential staining.Staining can be avoided by sealing with a penetrating sealant prior to installation. We recommend that you seal regularly according to the sealant instructions.Coffee, red wine, cooking oil, butter, lemon juice, tomato juice and other acidic products spilled on the counter should be removed as soon as possible.Use the correct cleaner, do not use the detergent containing ammonia, so as not to corrode the granite, make the polishing surface dim.

Burns

Hot ware placed directly on granite will not show any burn marks, but be careful when moving, because the stone will accumulate heat on the ware, which will be released when moving, and you may get scalded if you are not careful.
