The Carrara region of Italy offers us some of the highest quality marble in the world, as well as a wide variety of colours. We choose our own slabs in Calacatta CarrARA marble, but you can always contact us and we will be happy to help you with the selection. If you are not sure what is right for your Carraro marble and where it does not matter, visit our shop and see the options that are made to imitate the classic look. Whether you come to our Bethel, CT or Rye, NY showroom, we sell all the marble we can get that fits into our quality brackets.

The finest Carrara marble from this area is Bianco CarrARA, also known as ordinary white marble. It is characteristically homogeneous, with a glossy grain and smoke-grey veins that run through the stone rather irregularly.

It has obviously been used in many other applications and has created a special material for sculpture and artistic works, as well as for the construction of some of the most famous monuments in the world, such as the Pantheon in Rome.

I have always wanted to be a very honest guy, so I hope you will learn about the drawbacks of marble and confirm me by knowing that we don't have to talk about marble countertops. Calacatta marble is white of course, and although it is beautiful, this material can create a dramatic effect. The truth is, if you're not ready to part with your marble dreams, you might think about using polished Carrara marble in your kitchen again. If the thought of imperfection frightens you, read on and look for ways to integrate marble into the kitchen by using it as a countertop material!

The different qualities of this stone depend on its basic colour, but basically the two types of marble differ in the colour of the substrate and the quality of its surface (including the floor). This marble is called Bardiglio because the ground colour is dark grey with almost bruises.

It would therefore be more appropriate to use Carrara Marble sensu Figure 1, which is a marble. In ancient times, the Romans called this lithotype Marble lunensis, which means Luni marble, instead of the rock.

In Marmi Arabescati, the name is a reference to the surface decoration of the marble, reminding us of Arab art. The name combines the white and yellowish colour with the "arabesque" - like the "marble variant," a type of white marble with veins of various colours. One cannot speak of an "arabesque" without getting into the veins, because they forget the reticular form and structure. Arabesque-like variety is the vein that derives the true "arabesque" and the other color from a white or whitish base mass.

In other words, the main characteristics that make Carrara marble stand out are not the veins, but the ground mass of the marble itself, extracted from the rock of quarries in Carraras, Italy. Bianco CarrARA is one of many white marbles produced in the area and is quarried in a quarry near Carrari in Italy, not far from Marmi Arabescati. The production of white marble is more abundant and therefore represents a natural quarrying in and around Carraranas.

Bianco Carrara is a white marble from the region and, at around $1,500 per pound, is one of the most popular white marbles in the world.

One of the most popular marble types excavated in the Apuan Alps is the Carrara Calacatta marble, although the Statuario marble is considered the most luxurious. There is no doubt that it is more expensive than the other stones, but if you are looking for heavy veins, this is your choice. The most expensive type of white marble in the world is StatUario marble, which is a combination of two different types of marble: Bianco Carara marble and Statoario, at about $1,500 per pound.

White marble is also produced in the area around the Carrara Basin in Italy, and small needle holes are not uncommon. This area has taken the worldwide name "Carrara Marble District" because it is objectively the distance from the "Carara" basin (sensu stricto).

According to most lists of marble species, Bianco Carrara is described as a "C" or "CD" variant of white marble, a type of stone classified as two slightly different types of stone. By far the most common form of biblical Kos - classified as the C-CD variant - is the "Carara marble" quarried in the CarrARA area. Unlike other marble types, it is embedded with metamorphic rock made of microscopic calcium carbonate crystals.
