Stone block rate, yield rate, yield rate

The material properties refer to the possibility of processing certain specifications and a certain amount of blocks and plates from the mineral deposit. Industry requires the higher the material properties of stone, the better. Productivity must be measured by two indicators: block rate and yield rate.

The block rate is also called the rate of stoneblock. It refers to the percentage of the volume of stone blocks obtained from the total volume of the original rock in the same range. Expressed as a percentage. Blocks refer to stone blanks with a certain block shape and qualified quality that are mined in the mine without inclusions and cracks, and processed and trimmed into a rectangular stone.

Block rate = obtained block volume (m3) / total volume of raw rock mined (m3) x 100%

The block rate is divided into theoretical block rate and trial mining block rate. The actual block rate obtained in mine production is the actual block rate.

①Theoretical block rate: also known as the block diagram block rate. According to a specific superimposed drawing drawn from a representative joint crack sketch, a method of cutting blocks is designed according to a certain specification, and the block rate is obtained.

② Trial mining block rate: It is the block rate obtained by trial mining in a point that can represent the development of joints, cracks, layers, and color lines in the mining area among the measurement points of the block diagram. The volume of test mining is generally not less than 50-100 cubic meters.

The yield rate is expressed in (m2/m3):

Output rate = sawn board area (square meters) / sawn block volume (cubic meters)

On the whole, granite blocks are processed into matte boards (blocks → matte boards → matte boards), and the total loss is between 34% and 52%.
