What Are Black Pebbles Made Of？

Vesicular is an adjective used to change the appearance of fine-grained, inflammatory or volcanic rocks with bubbles (holes or gas bubbles) in them that make the grain look more slushy - like or clinker. Sedimentary rocks are usually made of cemented quartz or grains of sand such as sandstone, quartzite and sandite. 

Rhodonite, a pink stone, is often confused with rhodochrosite because the ground colour is similar. Although rhodochosite is covered with white ribbons, most of the rodonite used for jewellery contains black manganese oxide. Gabbro is called black granite, and a large proportion of iron-bearing minerals makes gabbro heavier and usually darker in color. 

The pink colour of syenite is due to the predominant alkali feldspar and the presence of iron. Black Spinel is a rare mineral from the spinel family and is a real gem often confused with black tourmaline. This type of rock can be found in a variety of colours, which differ according to the minerals it contains. An unusual, glittering black mineral, related to mica, which occurs only in the form of black spindles or black spinels. 

Unlike the metamorphic rocks we have discussed, slate, gneiss and slate have a layered or banded appearance.
