Granite Weathering And Wear Treatment Method
Nov 12, 2020
Long-term use of granite is prone to natural weathering and abrasion. Its performance is characterized by the shedding of mica. Due to the hard texture of granite, it is difficult to achieve the desired effect by simply using chemical curing agents and abrasives for curing when the surface of the granite is damaged. The agent adopts physical grinding method, and its effect is better than purely using chemical products for refurbishing grinding.
Equipment, accessories and consumables needed for granite renovation: stone renovation agent, full set of granite renovation tablets, 17-inch red polishing pad, water suction machine, sign, watering can, photometer, glass wiper, wiper and bucket.
Working procedures and construction methods:
1. Set up a notice board at the work site. To prevent mud and dirt from splashing on the wall, use a plastic transparent film to stick the bottom of the ground wall. Add clean water to the water tank of the stone refurbishment machine, connect the power supply, prepare various types of metal mouth discs, granite refurbished discs, etc., and adjust the equipment and the ground level to prepare for work. If there is old wax on the ground, wax it first.
2. Use vulgar metal mouthed discs and install them on the refurbished discs. Grind an area of about 1 square meter each time, repeatedly push and pull, and grind the stone cut part until smooth. The water volume during grinding is moderate. Dry grinding is prohibited. Use a water suction machine to absorb and clean the ground.
3. Replace the thin-mouthed metal discs, grind in order, and cut the original ones to eliminate rough wear marks. Repeatedly grind, scrape and dry the floor.
4. Use 50#, 200#, 400#, 800# granite refurbished discs in turn, and continue grinding. Use 1500#, 3000# polishing pads to polish the surface, and finally wash and blow dry the stone surface.
